CHARLOTTETOWN, PEI – The Maritime Junior Hockey League‚Äôs (MHL) regular season is now underway with 28 Island-born players taking part. Additionally, one Islander will be suiting up in the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) as well this season. There are many new and familiar faces that will be rostered to a team in the CJHL this winter, so we’ve broken down who‚Äôs playing where. Have a look:¬†

The Islands sole MHL team, the Summerside Western Capitals, are set to drop the puck for their Home Opener this Saturday, November 7th at 7:00pm, Credit Union Place. Hockey PEI wishes the best of luck to all 29 of our Island natives playing in the CJHL this season and looks forward to following along with their progress.
