CHARLOTTETOWN, PE – The Hockey PEI Board of Directors recently passed a motion presented by the Female Hockey Council concerning “AA” leagues for the upcoming 2022-23 season. 

The motion includes the following changes: 

  • To provide a U18 AA female league for the 2022-23 season. Each zone must form at least one team. 
  • To provide a U15 AA Female League for the 2022-23 season. Each zone must form at least one team. 
  • To provide no U13 AA female league for the 2022-2023 season. The Female Hockey Council will develop a creative process to tier at the “A” level so that everyone is having growth through games and experiences. 

The call for coaches will begin immediately. As always, members with inquires related to this announcement can reach out to their Minor Hockey Association.
