CHARLOTTETOWN – Hockey PEI has found its new Office Administrator.
Michelle DesRoches is the newest addition to Hockey PEI’s full time staff. She will take over the role of Office Administrator and will work alongside Executive Director, Geoff Kowalski and Technical Director, Connor Cameron at Hockey PEI’s head office in Charlottetown.
“Michelle brings with her a strong skillset in both business and hockey administration, making her a perfect fit for our team and the Office Administrator role. Aside from those skills, it’s already clear that her personality and work ethic is going to be a huge addition to the office and we’re glad to have her here,” said Kowalski.
DesRoches has been an active Board Member of the Kensington and Area Minor Hockey Association since 2012 and has held the role of Registrar, Treasurer, Secretary, and Development Coordinator. She has also been a part of minor hockey team staffs as a manager and trainer from 2009 to 2018. On top of her extensive volunteer work in the Hockey world, DesRoches has over a decade of experience as Office Manager and Bookkeeper with other local organizations, most recently at McCardle Bros.
