CHARLOTTETOWN, PE – Hockey PEI is pleased to announce that Tanner Doiron will be officially joining the Hockey PEI staff as the Manager, Hockey Operations & Communications.


Doiron has been an integral part of Hockey PEI’s day-to-day social media activity for the past year and will now join the staff to help coordinate additional activities around the branch’s hockey operations, media, member communication, and events.


Prior to joining the Hockey PEI team, Doiron held hockey-related roles such as Director of Communications and Game Day Operations for the Summerside Western Capitals from 2015-2017 and Coordinator, Sport & Communications with UPEI Athletics from 2017-2018.


Doiron spent his minor hockey career in Summerside at the AAA and AA levels. He has been a member of the High Performance Program staff since 2017 serving in various roles. Furthermore, Doiron is an active Level 4 official, serving as a Senior Official on the Island and a linesman in the QMJHL.


Tanner has helped us on many levels over the past few years and knows our operations well. He’s done great work with the High Performance Program and also helping to grow our social media following and quality. Doiron will join Hockey PEI while also in his last year of completing his Bachelor of Business Administration Degree at UPEI.
