CHARLOTTETOWN, PE – Hockey PEI is thrilled to announce its entering into a new partnership with the City of Summerside’s Credit Union Place. The exciting agreement will see Hockey PEI’s High Performance Program take full advantage of what the Credit Union Place and its amenities has to offer.

With the growth of Hockey PEI’s High Performance Program on the rise, the Credit Union Place will provide state of the art facilities such as Meeting Space, a Multipurpose Dome, a full-sized gym, a new hotel and two ice-surfaces to which will complement the High Performance Program and other Hockey PEI programming very well in its goals and member satisfaction.

“Our members are very much looking forward to getting our High Performance spring programming underway in a great facility like Credit Union Place where our athletes will be able to take full advantage of what the building and surrounding facilities have to offer. Furthemore, we believe a partnership with the team in Summerside will help us serve our Prince County based membership more effectively”.

In addition, the partnership will see Hockey PEI operate a satellite office out of Credit Union Place in order to support this full slate of HP programming along with its Prince county based membership from the grassroots up; a first of its kind for the Provincial Sport Organization.

“We are thrilled to have Hockey PEI join us here at Credit Union Place to deliver its high performance programs in addition to opening a satellite office in our facility. This partnership is an example of Hockey PEI’s commitment to being a truly island wide provincial sport body and support and provide services to its members in prince county.”
