CHARLOTTETOWN, PE – On November 24th, Hockey PEI was made aware of a situation regarding allegations of racial discrimination directed toward a member of the Halifax Hawks Minor Hockey Association. Our branch took immediate action by opening an investigation into the grievous matter.

On November 30th, we received additional documentation which has added to this investigation.

Hockey PEI has a zero-tolerance policy on any act of discrimination or hatred within our game or society as a whole and takes these allegations of maltreatment very seriously.

This incident remains under thorough investigation, and we will share our findings at the conclusion of the process.
