As we continue to monitor the on-going investigation surrounding the positive case of COVID-19 announced on November 28th that directly affects Hockey, we would like to provide the update below:

We are asking all our members to abide by the following new precautionary measures in relation to yesterday’s announcement.

  • Any member who has been contacted by CPHO are to be following all direction from Public Health.
  • All members of a household who have someone living with them who has been contacted by CPHO for testing must wait until the household member who is being tested receives a negative test before participating in any Hockey PEI sanctioned activity.
  • Any member who goes for voluntary COVID-19 testing is to refrain from Hockey PEI activity until they receive a negative test.
  • Household members of those going for voluntary testing are not required to refrain from Hockey PEI activity at this time.

Hockey PEI will continue to provide updates on this situation to its members as they become available.
