CHARLOTTETOWN, PE – After further deliberation, both the PEI Junior “C” Hockey League and the Island Junior “B” Hockey League activities are to be paused until further notice along with Minor Hockey Programming. The situation will continue to be monitored by Hockey PEI and the Chief Public Health Office as it relates to Hockey.

The Maritime Junior “A” Hockey League and the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League continue to remain exempt from the current pause and may continue with activities with added public health measures.

As set out in previous communication, any U18 carded player will not be permitted to Affiliate with ANY Junior league until the current public health restrictions are lifted on January 8th. This includes practices and games.
