CHARLOTTETOWN, PE - The Island Junior Hockey League (Junior B) is calling for an expression of interest for new teams to enter the league.
The league is currently comprised of two (2) teams; the Kensington Junior B Vipers and the Sherwood Junior B Metros. The IJHL is seeking to grow the Junior B program to a more competitive and productive 4 team league.
Ideally, the IJHL would like to see the addition of one team in the east and one team in the west area of the province. The establishment of zones is being discussed. Zone structure will be dependant on interest and number of teams.
