CHARLOTTETOWN KNIGHTS SEEKING NEXT HEAD COACH

CHARLOTTETOWN, PE - The Charlottetown Knights Major Under-18 Franchise are requesting applications for the soon to be vacant Head Coach position.


The organization announced this week that they are looking to have the position filled no later than May 15th, 2024 in order to prepare for an Identification camp later in May and to begin preparation for the 2024-25 hockey season.


*The successful candidate for the "Head Coach" position must have High Performance 1 coaching certificate from Hockey Canada and be willing to devote significant time to the team and prepare them for a very competitive league with a minimum of two off Island tournaments that take place in November and January of the calendar year.


*There are 3 practice times and along a typical 2 game a week schedule. Along with the head coaching duties, this person will be responsible for hiring 2 assistant coaches along with the General Manager. They will also have sole responsibility for player selection and development. Some renumeration is available to coaches and will be discussed at time of the interview process.
