CHARLOTTETOWN, PE - In September, Hockey PEI and Ladner’s Source for Sports signed a renewed sponsorship agreement recognizing Ladner’s as the “Official Sports Store of Hockey PEI”. Ladner’s meets many of your hockey needs already but now they will also have Hockey PEI branded merchandise for sale both in-store and online. This renewed partnership also reignites the Hockey Star of the Month volunteer recognition program.
“We are excited to announce the renewal of our partnership with Ladner’s Source for Sports”, stated Hockey PEI Executive Director Tami Lewis. “It is important for us to align our organization with local companies and people that are integral to the hockey community. We appreciate the support of Ladner’s Source for Sports and look forward to the opportunities this partnership will bring, especially in this 50th Anniversary season”.
From coaches and parents to referees, fans and rink staff - Hockey has some phenomenal people out there working hard to bring hockey to the ice for our players. The Ladner’s Source for Sports Hockey Star of the Month program aims to recognize and celebrate the many people who go above and beyond on and off the ice! Starting in the month of November, Hockey PEI and Ladner’s Source for Sports will be invitingyou to nominate a “Hockey Star” from your community – someone who you feel deserves an extra pat on the back for the time and energy they put into making hockey a great experience for Island kids. At the end of each month, a draw will take place and the individual selected will receive a Hockey Star Prize Pack that will include a gift card from Source for Sports and a special prize from Hockey PEI!
