HPP PROGRAMS ADDED TO SUMMER SELECTION CAMP

CHARLOTTETOWN, PE - The Hockey PEI Development Hockey Council in conjunction with its High Performance Program Management Group announced today the addition of two programs now opened for registration under the upcoming HPP Summer Selection Camp umbrella of programming. Interested and eligible participants can now register for the following programs:


Division: Under-18 Female High Performance Program:

  • Date: August 19th - 22nd, 2024

  • Location: Credit Union Place, Summerside, PEI

  • Schedule: To be sent out in advance

  • Cost: $350.00


Description: The Under-18 Female Atlantic Challenge Cup is a premier showcase of hockey talent in Atlantic Canada and welcomes 80 of the top female players in the region who will participate on provincial teams from Hockey Nova Scotia, Hockey New Brunswick, Hockey PEI, and Hockey Newfoundland and Labrador. The Hockey PEI Under-18 Female Summer Camp provides an opportunity to gather and evaluate the top players within this age group. The HPP Camp will consist of high-quality on-ice practices and games, and off-ice activities such as fitness testing, classroom and video sessions. Please note that this camp is capped at 30 participants and limited to 2008 birth years.


Division: Under-13 Male High Performance Program:

  • Date: August 22nd - 25th, 2024

  • Location: Credit Union Place, Summerside, PEI

  • Schedule: To be sent out in advance

  • Cost: $300.00


Description: The Hockey PEI U13 Male Summer Camp provides an opportunity to gather and evaluate players within this age group, and in turn offers them an introduction into the Hockey PEI High Performance Program (HPP). The HPP Camp will consist of high-quality practices and games, and off-ice activities such as fitness testing, classroom and video sessions. Please note that this camp is capped at 40 participants and limited to 2012 birth years.
