by Hockey PEI Communications // @HockeyPEI // Sunday, October 20th, 2024

CHARLOTTETOWN, PE - In December 2023, the World Under-17 Hockey tournament was hosted in Charlottetown and Summerside. The World U17 Host Committee has generously provided Hockey PEI with legacy monies, for which $3500.00 is to be directed towards development opportunities. Hockey PEI is thankful to be the recipient of these monies in support of member development.

Hockey PEI recognizes the valuable contribution that Minor Hockey Associations play in the development of our membership, not only to support excellence but to foster growth and encourage recruitment and retention in the game. We encourage associations to look at new initiatives that will encourage and enhance development within their membership.
