CHARLOTTETOWN, PE – The 2022 TELUS Cup Finals match-up is set. The Moncton Flyers (1) will take on the Cantonniers de Magog (2) tonight at 9:30 PM ET for gold. The Flyers won’t be the only Atlantic representation on the ice as Cornwall’s Jack Robinson will also join them after earning himself a spot on the officiating crew for his first National Championship finals assignment.

“We are very pleased to learn of Jack’s well-deserved gold medal assignment. This is yet another accolade for his officiating career and a testament to his efforts this season. We know he will represent our officiating program well as he has been all tournament, and we wish him all the best tonight!”

– Steven Green, Manager of Officiating, Hockey PEI

The game will be carried live by Hockey Canada’s National Broadcasting partner, TSN and will feature an all-female broadcast crew, including two-time Olympic gold medallist Cheryl Pounder, Kenzie Lalonde and Brit Dort.

Robinson, 22, was selected to work Canada’s National Men’s U18 Club Championship back in early May after coming off a successful first season officiating at the Junior “A” level and being hired as a linesperson by the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
