CHARLOTTETOWN, PE –  Hockey PEI saw five players and one staff member from its High Performance Program report to this year’s U18 Female Atlantic Development Camp in Antigonish, Nova Scotia at StFX University this past weekend.

Goaltender Hannah Leclair, Defenseman Sara MacEachern and Forwards Heidi Lauwerjissen, Hilarie Gaudet, Chloe Hawes were all invited to this year’s Development Camp. Also amongst those representing Prince Edward Island at this year’s camp was Coach Chris Harkness who acted as an official camp coach.

“This is a great opportunity for our Female High Performance Athletes to gain further development and showcase their skills in hopes to crack Team Atlantic Roster down the road,” said Hockey PEI Technical Director, Connor Cameron.
